SALISBURY, Md. - After a three day search, Police say a man is behind bars on murder charges, after a Salisbury man was shot to death on Monday.

Maryland State Police say 29-year-old Deonte Grant, who has no fixed address, but apparently used to live in Salisbury, is charged with 1st and 2nd degree murder, reckless endangerment, use of firearm in the commission of a felony or crime of violence, and wearing/carrying a handgun, stemming from the shooting death of 24-year-old Dominic Jones. Grant is being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center at this time, without bond.

Police say the suspect and the victim were involved in some kind of on-going dispute, because of a domestic issue. The victim reportedly went to the home on Patrick Avenue, where he was later shot, in or near the front entrance.

According to reports after the afternoon shooting, Jones was driven by friends to PRMC, where he was later pronounced dead. An autopsy was preformed, where it was discovered that Jones had been shot once in the upper torso. The cause of death was a gunshot wound, and manner of death was ruled a homicide.

Grant was apparently wanted in both Delaware and Maryland. State Police fugitive experts tracked him to a home in Camp Springs, Maryland, where he was taken into custody. Grant was arrested on Tuesday, and charged on Thursday morning. MSP say they have been investigating this incident since the first 911 call came in, and that investigation has included Baltimore City and Prince Georges County.

Maryland State Police say their investigation is still on-going, and they are still looking for the murder weapon at this time.
