Six Arrested On Drug Charges In Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. - Police wrapped up a several month long drug investigation, on Monday morning, with six arrests. Delaware State Police say around 6:00 AM, their Special Operations Response Team, along with the Sussex County Governor's Task Force, simultaneously executed two search warrants on two homes in Carey's Camp Mobile Home Park, in Millsboro, in connection with an investigation into illegal drug dealing.

At a residence on the 31000 block of Carey's Drive, they arrested Jason Davis, 32, Cassandra Higgins, 23, Jenna Ennis, 25, Justin Wood, 29, all of Millsboro. In the home, Police say they found a .380 semi-automatic handgun with ammunition, 239 bags of heroin, totaling more than 5.9 grams, 8 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and more than $4,550 in suspected drug sales.

At the residence on the 21000 block of Charles Drive, Police say 29-year-old Robert Young, tried to flee, and was taken into custody after a Trooper, used a Taser to subdue him. Also at that home, Cassandra C. Dixon, 26, also of Millsboro, was taken into custody. A search of that home, reportedly revealed 70 bags of heroin totaling 1.7 grams, a 20 gauge shotgun, .5 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and $929 in suspected drug sales.

Davis and Higgins were charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, possession of a deadly weapon by a person prohibited, 2nd degree conspiracy, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both are being held on $43,700 bond, Davis at SCI and Higgins at Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution.

Ennis was charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, maintaining a drug property, 2nd degree conspiracy, possession of marijuana, criminal impersonation, and possession of drug paraphernalia. She is being held at Delores J. Baylor Women's Correctional Institution on $44,300 bond.

Wood and Young were charged with possession with intent to deliver heroin, possession of heroin, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia, along with other related offenses. Both are being held at SCI on bond.

Dixon was charged with possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia and released on bond.
