DENTON, Md. - Autopsy results of a toddler, have been released after an apparent drowning, that happened Monday night, in Denton.

Denton Police say around 8:00 PM, they were called to the 300 Block of South Third Street in Denton and found a 2-and-a-half-year-old Xavier Anthony Dawson, in the front yard of the house receiving CPR from a family friend.

According to reports, the child was transported by ambulance to the Memorial Hospital of Easton, where he was pronounced dead.

An investigation reportedly showed that the child had been found unresponsive, at the bottom of the above ground pool, that sits in the backyard of the family home. An autopsy apparently revealed no signs of physical trauma, and has ruled the incident an accidental drowning.
