Two DE Boat Ramps To Close For July

Posted: Updated:

DELAWARE - Due to construction, two Delaware beach boat ramps will close for the rest of the month. Starting Monday, July 8th, the ramps and parking areas at Collins Beach near Smyrna, and Rosedale Beach near Millsboro will shut down. The projects are to improve and upgrade accesses for public use. Both projects are expected to be complete, by August 1st.

Boaters who regularly use the Collins Beach ramp for access to the Delaware River are asked to use the Woodland Beach Boat Ramp, located on Woodland Beach Road in Woodland Beach, or the Augustine Boat Ramp on Route 9 in Port Penn. Boaters who regularly use the Rosedale Beach ramp for access to the Indian River Bay are asked to use the Masseys Landing Boat Ramp, located on Long Neck Road in Long Neck.
