DE Police Charge Felton Man With 6th Offense DUI After Crash

FELTON, Del. - Delaware Police say a Felton man was charged with a sixth-offense DUI after crashing his truck yesterday evening.

According to reports, at about 7:40 PM, Vincent Ware, 51, drove his car off the left side of Turkey Point Road in Felton, and hit a ditch, which ejected him from the car. Ware was reportedly not properly restrained, but he was only treated for minor injuries at Kent General Hospital, and was released. Ware was charged with sixth offense DUI, failing to have insurance identification in possession, careless driving, and failing to wear a seatbelt, and was committed on $10,003 cash bail.
