OCEAN CITY, Md - The Ocean City police department has announced funeral plans for Joshua Adickes of Berlin and Thomas Geoghegan Jr. of Ocean City, the two off-duty officers who were killed in a plane crash.

A public viewing will be held Monday for 27-year-old Adickes at Cochran's Funeral Home in Hackettstown, N.J., followed by funeral services Tuesday at Highlands Presbyterian Church in Schooleys Mountain, N.J. He will be buried at Fairmount Cemetery, in Fairmount, N.J.

A viewing will be held Thursday for 43-year-old Geoghegan at the John B. Taylor Funeral Home in Annapolis, with a funeral planned for Friday at Evangelical Presbyterian Church, also in Annapolis. Another viewing will be held next Saturday at Ocean Pines Community Church, from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.

The two officers died when their small military-style plane crashed into the ocean June 30, shortly after taking off from the Ocean City Municipal Airport. The bodies were recovered Monday.
