Construction To Close Boat Ramps In Collins & Rosedale Beaches

Posted: Updated:

DOVER, Del. - If you are a boater in Delaware, there are some new changes beginning Monday. Due to construction, access to the Collins Beach boat ramp near Smyrna and its parking area, along with the Rosedale Beach boat ramp near Millsboro and its parking area, will be closed July 8th to July 31st.

Boaters who regularly use the Collins Beach ramp for access to the Delaware River are asked to use the Woodland Beach Boat Ramp, located on Woodland Beach Road in Woodland Beach, or the Augustine boat ramp on route 9 in Port Penn. Boaters who regularly use the Rosedale Beach ramp for access to the Indian River Bay, are asked to use the Masseys Landing boat ramp, located on Long Neck Road in Long Neck.
