Suspect Wanted After Salisbury Apartment Burglary

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Police are investigating an early morning burglary of a Salisbury apartment, that apparently left the suspect injured. Salisbury Police say a woman was awakened to the sound of glass shattering in her 3rd floor apartment, in the College Lane Apartments complex, around 4:00 AM, on Friday.

Police say that sound was the sliding glass door to the balcony breaking. The victim called Police, but the suspect apparently fled, before authorities arrived on scene.

The victim wasn't injured, and nothing was taken during the ordeal. Police say they were able to collect blood samples at the scene, which they believe means the suspect apparently fled with an injury of some kind.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Salisbury Police at 410-548-3165 or Crime Solvers at 410-548-1776. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for tips that lead to an arrest.
