DE Fire Marshal's Investigate Strip Club Fire In Smyrna

SMYRNA, Del. - The Delaware State Fire Marshal's office say they are investigating a strip club fire that happened earlier this morning.

According to reports, at about 5:00 AM, at the Fairways Inn on DuPont Parkway, the Citizens Hose Company arrived on the scene with flames shooting from the 2 story building.  The business was closed when the fire was discovered. Police estimate that damage to the plane is about $400,000, and there were no reported injuries.

State fire marshal investigators are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333 or call the Office of the State Fire Marshal at (302) 739-4447.
