DE State Police Arrest Wilmington Woman After Robbing Bank

WILMINGTON, Del. - Delaware State Police say a Wilmington woman was apprehended shortly after robbing the Louviers Federal Credit Union, on 2612 Kirkwood Highway, Wednesday afternoon.

At around 4 PM, Theresa Cannon, 32, entered the bank with a baseball cap covering most of her face, and presented a note to a female teller. After she provided Cannon with money, Cannon fled from the bank on foot.

Troopers spotted Cannon walking on Kirkwood Highway and were able to arrest her after a quick pursuit. Cannon was charged with robbery second degree and wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony. She was committed to Baylor Women's Correctional Institute on $10,000 secured bail.
