City Ordinance Violation Leads To Drug And Weapons Arrest

OCEAN CITY, Md. -  An ordinance violation leads to the arrest of three men on drug and weapons charges in Ocean City.

Police say they observed 25-year-old Tyrone Lee, 22-year-old Malcolm Bates, and 22-year-old Desmond Matthews sleeping in a parked vehicle along 5th Street in the early hours of June 30th. As officers approached the car they claim they smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. A search recovered marijuana, paraphernalia, MDMA, a concealed knife and a loaded .38 Special revolver.

All three are facing a flew of charges, including Possession of a concealed deadly weapon.
