DELMAR, Del. - Next week, TLC is airing a special that takes us inside the dramatic world of Mrs. Pageants, and one of the cast members lives on the Eastern Shore.

She's been chasing crowns since she was just a teen; and now, 49-year-old Jocelyn Morrow of Delmar, DE, is strutting her way onto the small screen with TLC's "Crown Chasers." It's a 90-minute special that features five middle-aged women who struggle to juggle their careers and families with the life of pageantry. Jocelyn, who goes by the alias of JGlow, is a mother of three and a piano teacher.

"I'm JGlow because they say I glow when I'm on stage. All girls like a princess experience. To have a crown put on your head and holding roses, it just doesn't get much sweeter than that," she said.

She calls the show a mix between "Desperate Housewives" and "Toddlers and Tiaras."

"We all want the crown, we all want the spotlight. We're all a little bit of an attention hog," Morrow said.

The show is chock-full with spray tans, botox, face lifts and all the drama.

"We fight and we have attitude on the show, and it's real. I mean those women really piss me off," Morrow said.

But aside from all the glitz, glamour and cat fights, Jocelyn says she's using this opportunity as a platform to educate other women.

"People think that pretty girls don't struggle with things. I'm full of issues. I'm just like a lot of other women, and going through menopause is not really seen much on TV."

For now, "Crown Chasers" is just a 90-minute special on TLC. But Jocelyn says if the show gets good feedback, it could possibly turn into a series. You can catch "Crown Chasers" next Wednesday, July 10 at 10 p.m. right after "Toddlers and Tiaras."
