BRIDGEVILLE, Del. - A Bridgeville man is wanted after allegedly stealing checks from his grandparent. Delaware State Police are looking for 31-year-old Frederick Kirsch III, who they say cashed checks that didn't belong to him.

According to the report, the victim's granddaughter, Brittany A. Moore, 23 of Blades, and Kirsch had cashed six checks, taken from the victim's Federalsburg home, at Food Lions in Bridgeville and Seaford, totaling more than $300.

Kirsch is wanted on six counts each of identity theft, theft under $1,500 where victim is over 62, and 2nd degree forgery.

Moore was taken into custody earlier this week, charged with the same charges, and is now being held on $6,000 bond at Delores Baylor Women's Correctional Institution.

Anyone with information on Kirsch's whereabouts is asked to contact Troop 5 at 302-337-1090 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIP-3333. Tips can also be submitted to the DSP Mobile Crime App, texting DSP to CRIMES (274637), or by visiting the TipSubmit website.
