Six Arrested For Drug Violations In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Ocean City Police say that six people were arrested for drug violations after a traffic stop on Tuesday.

According to reports, at around 4 PM, Ocean City police stopped a vehicle in the area of 1st Street and Philadelphia Avenue for a seatbelt violation. Officers reportedly requested to search the vehicle after the six people inside the car became scared and nervous.

During the search, police allegedly found one-quarter pound of marijuana over 100 doses of LSD, a butterfly-style knife and over $2,000. Police say they also seized the vehicle as contraband.

Ocean City Police say they charged Eric Livering, 24, Joshua Saverwein, 18, Seth Shindel, 21, Leah Moyer, 18, Ari Hoch, 32, and Alfredo Hernandez, 31, all of Pennsylvania.

All six individuals were reportedly seen by an Ocean City District Court Commissioner, and Livering, Saverwein, Shindel, and Hernandez were released. Moyer and Hoch were transferred to the Worcester County Jail on a $2,500 bond.
