Trooper Involved Collision On Rt. 113 - 47 ABC - Delmarva's Choice

UPDATE: Driver Charged In Trooper Involved Collision On Rt. 113

WORCESTER CO., Md. - Wednesday morning, a two vehicle collision sent a Maryland State Police trooper to the hospital. It happened just before 8:00 AM on northbound Rt. 113. We're told that as the trooper was approaching Croppers Island Road, his vehicle was struck by a southbound jeep attempting a left turn.

The driver, 32-year-old Nathan Adelsberger of Emmitsburg, MD, refused treatment. The trooper was taken to Atlantic General Hospital, treated and released. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. Adelsberger has been charged with failure to yield right of way on left turn.
