Woman Charged With Robbing Elderly Woman For $80K

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - A Linkwood woman is behind bars tonight after allegedly robbing an elderly woman of more than $80,000.

Maryland State Troopers were first alerted to the crime on June 6, when they were called to the home of 89-year-old Margaret McKee Harrison.

They found that Ginger Stevens worked and cared for Harrison for nearly four years. In that time, police say Stevens made withdraws from Harrison's bank accounts without permission for more than $80,000.

Stevens was arrested Sunday and faces several charges, including theft of under $100,000, and fraud.
