DE State Police Investigate Armed Robbery In New Castle

NEW CASTLE, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating the armed robbery of a 29-year-old man in the area of North DuPont Highway and Memorial Drive in New Castle.

According to reports, on Friday at about 11:00 PM, a male victim exited a Dart Bus and was walking in the area of the Wawa on North DuPont Highway, when two suspects approached him. Troopers said one of them displayed a hand gun, and then both suspects fled on foot eastbound on Memorial Drive with the victim's property. There were no injuries.

Police describe the suspects as two black males between the ages of 16 and 17, both about 5'03" tall, with a thin build. One suspect was reportedly last seen wearing tan, plaid shorts, and a yellow shirt, and the armed suspect with tan shorts.
