Easton Man Charged With Unlawful Taking Of Motor Vehicle

EASTON, Md. - According to reports, Easton Police responded to the 600 block of Elizabeth Street on Friday night for an unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Police were reportedly told that 22-year-old Larry Taylor cut all four tires of a vehicle, and fled the home in another vehicle that he unlawfully took. Taylor also allegedly stole a cell phone from one of the complainants.

Police found Taylor later and served an arrest warrant on him. He was formally charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle (unauthorized use), unauthorized removal of property, two counts of theft less than $1,000 and malicious destruction of property under $500. Taylor was remanded to the Talbot County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond pending trial.
