REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - The investigation continues against a Rehoboth Beach police officer placed on leave after being accused of police brutality.

Rehoboth Beach Police Chief Keith Banks says the Dover Police Department completed its portion of the investigation on May 9th to determine if Corporal Robert Whitman violated any rules while using a taser during the April 7th arrest of Jeremy Anderson of Pennsylvania.

The attorney general's office says it's now conducting a criminal investigation to determine if the use of force was lawful.
