LEWES, Del. - Police have made an arrest, after the robbery of a Lewes Cigarette store, earlier this month. An investigation into a June 8th robbery of the DOT Discount Cigarette store, where the suspect pulled a knife on the cashier and got away with cash, has put a man behind bars.

Delaware State Police say tips they received after releasing surveillance photos to the public, lead them to 31-year-old James Rogers, of Lewes.

On Thursday, Troopers say they searched Rogers' Yoshino Drive home, where they found evidence linking him to the crime, including a baseball hat, white sunglasses, and a knife. Police say they also found hypodermic needles at the home.

Rogers was arrested, and charged with 1st degree robbery, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, wearing a disguise during the commission of a felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He is being held on $107,500 bond.
