Traffic Stop Leads To Drug Bust In Pocomoke

POCOMOKE, Md. - A routine traffic stop leads to police finding over $13,000 worth of cocaine in Pocomoke.

34-year-old Jermaine Norman of Portsmouth, VA was initially pulled over for speeding. While speaking with Norman, a pat down for weapons was conducted.  The officer found a heat sealed food saver bag containing 4.7 ounces of highly compressed cocaine, which carries a street value between $13,000 to $26,000.

Norman was booked on several charges, including possession with intent to distribute cocaine. The investigation is ongoing
