Delaware Seashore State Park's Summer Kayak Eco-Tours

Posted: Updated:

REHOBOTH BEACH, Del. - Delaware Seashore State Park will once again offer kayak eco-tours through the salt marshes of Rehoboth Bay this summer.

In addition to learning about the ecology of the Inland Bays, participants will get a taste of local history as well.

Tours will be offered Wednesdays through Saturdays at 9:30 A-M until mid-August. Participants will meet at Savages Ditch Road where they will launch their kayaks into a section of Rehoboth Bay known as "Station Cove".

The fee for this program is $35 per person and participants must be at least 13 years old.  Close-toe shoes, drinking water and sun protection are recommended.  Pre-registration is required as space is limited.  For more information or to pre-register, call the Indian River Life-Saving Station at (302) 227-6991 or visit destateparks.com.
