Injuries Reported In 2 Vehicle Crash In Berlin

BERLIN, Md. - Maryland State Police responded to reports of two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Routes 611 and 707 Thursday night.

Through an investigation, police determined that 77-year-old William Strickland Jr. was traveling northbound along Rt. 611 before attempting to make a left turn on to Rt. 707.  Strickland failed to yield for 50-year-old David Faulds, causing the two vehicle to crash at the intersection.  Upon impact, Faulds's vehicle rolled of the road and struck a nearby residence.

The damage to the home was minor and no injuries were reported from anyone inside the home at the time. Strickland was transported to Atlantic General for unknown injuries. David and Kimberly Faulds, along with 3 teenagers inside the vehicle at the time were transported to PRMC.  No word yet on their condition.
