BBB Warns MD Residents Of Door-To-Door Salesmen Scams

Posted: Updated:

BALTIMORE, Md. - The Maryland Better Business Bureau is now warning residents of deceptive sellers.

The BBB says this year it's dealt with over a dozen complaints from residents about overly aggressive sales pitches and rushing customers into a contractual agreement of a product.

If visited by a door-to-door sales person, BBB recommends residents be safe and never invite a salesperson into their home, listen carefully to what the person is saying, research the company, research the company and always get a receipt from the transaction.
