WORCESTER CO., Md. - In the US, rabies still represents a serious threat to the health of people and animals.

According to the CDC, an estimated 40-thousand people have to get a rabies treatment each year, due to potential exposure to rabies.

Which is why the Worcester County health department is offering an inexpensive rabies vaccination clinic tomorrow.

Vaccines are $5 for Worcester County residents and $10 for non residents.  Wednesday's clinic will be held at Worcester County Animal Control from 5:30 to 7:00 PM.
