Arrested: 18-year-old Taron Baine, of Salisbury Arrested: 18-year-old Taron Baine, of Salisbury

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury teen is behind bars for allegedly pulling a handgun after being asked to leave a home. Wicomico County Sheriff's Office says they responded to Nokomis Avenue on June 3rd, for a subject armed with a handgun.

Once on scene, the female resident of the home said that she had asked 18-year-old Taron Baine, to leave her house, multiple times. However instead of leaving, he reportedly pulled a silver handgun out, pointed it at the victim, and asked "are you serious?"

The victim told Deputies that she fled from her own home, out of fear, until she saw Baine leave. Once back inside, she noticed that Baine had apparently damaged her couch and a wall. Baine was not at the scene, but a warrant was issued for his arrest.

On June 5th, a Deputy saw him walking on West Main Street in Salisbury, and took him into custody. During the arrest, the Deputy says they found the sliver handgun, a loaded .22 revolver, in Baine's pocket.

He was charged with 2st degree assault, possession of a firearm, and reckless endangerment. Baine is being held at the Detention Center on $75,000 bond for the alleged assault, and an additional $50,000 bond for having a gun when he was arrested.
