CAMBRIDGE, Md. - Officials are investigating the cause of a Cambridge house fire that happened in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Maryland State Fire Marshal's Office say and the occupant of the High Street home found the fire, which started in the attached utility closet, around 4:40 AM. The two alarm blaze took 30 fire fighters, a half hour to control.
There were smoke alarms, but they apparently didn't activate, however no injuries were reported. Total damages are estimated at $15,000.
The Fire Marshal's Office is still looking into what caused the fire.
