UPDATE: Investigation Into Death Of 18-Year-Old Easton Man

Posted: Updated:

EASTON, Md. - Maryland State Police are looking into the death of 18-year-old Samuel Cross. The teenager's body was found early Monday morning along a rural road in Easton.

Just after 6:00 AM, troopers were called to the area of Bozman-Neavitt Road and North St.Michaels Road, after receiving reports of a deceased man. Further investigation lead them to information that Cross may have been moved from Claiborne Road and Old Claiborne in St. Michaels earlier in the morning. Troopers believe he may have been in the St. Michaels area with friends Sunday night.

While the police report shows Cross had no sign of outward lethal injuries, law enforcement say they're still calling his death questionable. Cross' body has been taken to the Medical Examiner's office to determine the cause of death.

State police tell WMDT they're currently going through Cross' telephone records and attempting to piece together a timeline of the teenager's death. Authorities are looking for any information to assist them with this investigation, if you know anything call Maryland State Police at 410-822-3101. Callers may remain anonymous.
