Pediatrician Accused Of Waterboarding Trial Delayed To Oct. 14th

GEORGETOWN, Del. - The start of a high-profile case against pediatrician, Dr. Melvin Morse is delayed.

According to Attorney General Beau Biden's office, the defense team requested the postponement. The judge accepted the request and pushed the trial back to October 14th.

Morse stands accused of waterboarding his 11-year-old step-daughter and faces four counts of felony reckless endangering, one count of misdemeanor third degree assault and five counts of misdemeanor endangering the welfare of a child.

The doctor's wife, Pauline Morse pleaded guilty to child endangerment back in May for her involvement in the crime.
