Stolen Gun Found During Drug Arrest In Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. - A Maryland teenager has been arrested after allegedly selling drugs to an undercover police officer. Ocean City Police say they, along with the Worcester County Sheriff's Office, were conducting an undercover operation on the Boardwalk, during which, 19-year-old Loomis Zayzay, sold a Detective marijuana.

Zayzay was arrested for possession and distribution of marijuana. During the arrest, police reportedly found a semi-automatic handgun in Zayzay's backpack. An investigation showed that the gun had been reported stolen in Georgia.

He was additionally charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance with intent to distribute, distribution of a controlled dangerous substance, possession of a firearm during a drug trafficking crime, possession of a handgun, theft less than $1,000, and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance. He is being held without bond at the Worcester County Jail.
