MASTEN'S CORNER, Del. - Patsy Gloria Smith, 69, of Salisbury, passed away suddenly on Friday, May 24, 2013 at the Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Born in Masten's Corner, DE, she was the daughter of the late Chandous Henry Smith and Rachel Lillian Elliott Smith. She worked as a garment inspector for Gant Shirt Factory for over 30 years. She had a passion for flowers, cats, birds and collecting crystal china. She deeply loved having family gatherings and dinners, and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, James Roscoe Smith; a daughter, Teresa Mae Nicholson of Salisbury; 2 grandchildren, Dustin Mills and his wife, Linda and Crystal Mills; 2 sisters, Lois Claudette Billings of Baltimore and Janice Joyce Perry of Middletown, DE; a brother, Jackie Wayne Wyatt and his wife, Ann of Chestertown; and an expecting great grandson, Chase Alexander Mills. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters, Anna Lee Frances Jackson and Sara Elizabeth "Bobbie" Fortney; and a brother, Lawrence V. Wyatt.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 7, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
