Police Investigate Three Del Home Invasions

DOVER, Del. - Dover police are investigating three home invasions that happened yesterday, two of them were just miles apart.

The first occurred just after 7 p.m. at the Woodmill Apartments. A black male reportedly armed with a sawed-off shotgun kicked in an apartment door and demanded money. The victim jumped from the second floor balcony and called police.

The second invasion was on Heritage Drive just after 11 p.m. Here, two black male suspects forced their way through a sliding door and assaulted an occupant. One of the suspects had a sawed-off shotgun.

The final incident was on Lotus Street between Friday afternoon and 6 a.m. today.
