STEVENSVILLE, Md. - A lawn mower caper costs a local business owner close to 60-thousand dollars. According to the Queen Anne County Sheriff's office, the owner of a landscaping company reported that his utility trailer was missing from a parking lot on Butterworth Court.

The trailer was last seen around 11:00 PM Sunday. The trailer reportedly contained nearly $45,000 worth of equipment including a riding mower, trimmers, edges and blowers.

The owner also says a second trailer had been broken into and equipment stolen.

Deputies say video cameras show two suspects walking in the area just before midnight. A short time later, a white pick-up truck is seen backing up and leaving with the trailer.

If you have any information on this case, contact the Queen Anne County Sheriff's Office at 410-758-0770.
