Clarksburg Men Allegedly Caught Going Through Cars

OCEAN CITY, Md. - Two brothers are behind bars tonight after trolling for unlocked cars. Police say they saw 25-year-old Harry Holmes, III and 22-year-old Christopher Holmes, both of Clarksburg, tampering with the door handles of parked cars to see if the vehicles were unlocked.
When officers confronted the two suspects, the older brother reportedly fled from police. Officers say they tried to subdue Harry Holmes but he assaulted an officer. He was subdued after police used a Taser. The younger Holmes was taken into custody without incident.
Police determined the brothers lived in the area of 94th street. After talking to witnesses and victims, Police discovered the brothers had gained entry into at least two vehicles.
Harry Holmes was treated by Ocean City EMS and taken to Atlantic General Medical Center for treatment. He was released and both men are being held by the Ocean City Police. Both men are charged with two counts of Rouge and Vagabond.
Harry Holmes has also been charged with Assault on a Police Officer and Resisting Arrest. They're awaiting an initial appearance before the District Court Commissioner.
