SALISBURY, Md. - Carolyn Jean White, 78, died Thursday, May 16, 2013 at Mallard Landing in Salisbury. Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late, William Neal and Alma Neal Kokko. She lived in Michigan there until she married John C. White, who was stationed in the Air Force. They then settled in DC where his family was located. They lived in DC then Oxon Hill, Maryland for many years and moved to Potomac in about 1982. Mrs. White worked for several governmental agencies including the Department of Agriculture and retired from ATF. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, working in her garden and was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by her brother, Kenneth Neal of Detroit, MI, her three children and nine grandchildren, two nieces and many aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Constance Neal.
