Salisbury Mayor Jim Ireton Announces Interim City Administrator

SALISBURY, Md. - Just one day after announcing John Pick will be stepping down Mayor Jim Ireton has named an interim City Administrator for Salisbury.

Neighborhood Services Director Tom Stevenson will fill the position until a permanent decision is made. Stevenson has been working with the city for the past 25 years, currently chairs the Neighborhood Services Task Force, serves as the Secretary to the Salisbury Historic District Commission and sits on various boards and committees, such as the Mayors Safe Streets Coalition.

Mayor Ireton will submit three names to the City Council to be considered for the position of City Administrator,  including current Assistant City Administrator Lori Chambers.
