NEW CASTLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police have charged a man with first-degree murder in the shooting of a driver at a truck stop.
Twenty-one-year-old Larry D. Bailey of New Castle was arrested Tuesday and is being held without bail.
Troopers say Bailey fatally shot 56-year-old Ronald Hardy of New Castle on April 22, 2012 at the Delaware Truck Plaza.
Authorities say Bailey and 24-year-old Carrie Webb of New Castle lured Hardy from his pickup truck into Webb's car. Police say once Hardy was in the car, Bailey pulled out a handgun and announced a robbery.
Hardy was shot and his body was found in the parking lot.
Webb pleaded guilty to robbery and is awaiting sentencing.
