Two Teens Reportedly Fight Over Hamburger In Salisbury Intersection

SALISBURY, Md. - Two teenagers are charged with assault, after a fight reportedly broke out at a Salisbury traffic light.

On Monday, around 11:45 AM, a Deputy with the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office, was driving near the intersection of College Avenue and Snow Hill Road, when they reportedly saw 18-year-old Jeffery Cannon, of Hebron, get out of a vehicle, go up to the vehicle in front of him, and punch the front seat passenger in the face.

According to the report, a fight broke out in the road, between Cannon and a 16-year-old Seaford teen, the intersection came to a halt because of it. The Deputy did break up the fight, and placed both teens under arrest. An investigation showed that the fight started after the Seaford teen, threw a hamburger at Cannon's car window.

Cannon was charged with assault and disturbance of the peace, and held at the Detention Center on $5,000 bond. The Seaford teen was charged on a juvenile referral, and later released to the custody of a parent.
