SEAFORD, Del. - Three remaining suspects in a Wednesday burglary of a Seaford gun shop are in police custody.
Delaware State Police say Daniel Cornish, Donald White and Devlyne King voluntarily turned themselves into detectives late Saturday afternoon and were formally charged with burglary 2nd, possession of burglary tools, 53 counts of theft of a firearm, conspiracy 2nd and criminal mischief.
The three men and a fourth suspect, Kevin Handy Jr. reportedly robbed Delmarva Shooting Supply and removed 35 handguns, 17 long rifles and ammunition from the store. Investigators say the suspects then fled the scene after being confronted by the store owner, who was alerted to the store by the alarm system.
So far, police say they recovered two handguns and a lower receiver assembly from a rifle.
