Somerset Co. Sheriff Announce Arrest Of Fugitive

SOMERSET CO., Md. – The Somerset County Sheriff's Office has announced the arrest of one of its top 10 most wanted. Police say Deandre Maurice Taylor of Princess Anne, was arrested on Monday.

Authorities say Taylor was arrested on Circuit Court controlled danger substance indictments and warrants for failing to appear in court, possession of suspected crack cocaine, possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving on a suspended driver's license, driving on a revoked driver's license, and driving without license.

Officials say, with the help from the Maryland State Police Apprehension team, Taylor was taken into custody during a traffic stop. According to reports, Taylor was later held on a $170,000 bond.

Taylor was one of the fugitives featured on our Fugitive Friday segment on WMDT 47 News.
