Salisbury Man Behind Bars After Allegedly Violation A Protective Order

SALISBURY, Md. - A Salisbury man is accused of assaulting his ex-girlfriend.

According to the Wicomico County Sheriff's Office they responded to a domestic altercation on Schumaker Drive. They say, a woman, who had just filed a protective order against Rondale Cropper, was returning to her apartment with maintenance staff, to change the locks.

Once inside, Cropper apparently came charging out of a back bedroom and pushed the woman against the wall, the maintenance staff called 911.

The Deputy arrived on scene to find Cropper walking out of the building. He was arrested, charged with 2nd degree assault and violation of a protective order. Cropper is being held on $100,000 bond.
