MAGNOLIA, Del. - Police have wrapped up a month long drug investigation with three arrests in Magnolia. Delaware State Police, Kent County Drug Unit, and Kent County Governor's Task Force searched a home on Carnation Drive, where they arrested brothers John Martin Jr., 34, and Daren M. Martin, 39, along with Vanessa M. Martin, 36, all of Magnolia. The search reportedly turned up 260 bags of heroin, totaling 6.5 grams, a large bag of fireworks, drug paraphernalia, and more than $2,800 in suspected drug money. John Martin was also found with four Percocet pills that apparently weren't prescribed to him. All three were charged with possession of a controlled substance - heroin, possession with intent to deliver heroin, 2nd degree conspiracy, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of fireworks. John Martin was additionally charged with possession of a controlled substance without a prescription - percocet. The brothers are both being held at James T. Vaughn Correctional Center on bond. Vanessa Martin was released on bond.
