Information Sought On Felton Attempted Armed Robbery

FELTON, Del. - Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly shot a man while trying to rob him. Delaware State Police say around 9:15 on Tuesday, a Dover man was leaving a Plymouth Road home, when he was approach by a man who demanded everything that he had.

According to the report, the victim refused, at which the suspect pulled out a gun from his waistband, and fired it, hitting the victim in his hand as he went to run. The suspect then also reportedly fled. The victim was able to call a friend, who took him to the emergency room, where Troopers later met with him.

Police describe the suspect as a black man, 5' 10" tall, wearing a black t-shirt and pants, armed with a handgun.
