HEBRON, Md. - Barbara Jean Ludke, 86, of Hebron, died on Sunday, April 28, 2013 at the Wicomico Nursing Home in Salisbury. Born in Ventura, CA, she was the daughter of the late Jay Evan Hollingsworth, Sr. and Ruth McLean Hollingsworth Reynolds. She was very devoted to her God, Jehovah, since age 10. She derived great joy in helping others learn about the Bible and its wonderful promises, both here and abroad. She was a loyal and devoted wife and loving mother to her own family, as well as to many others.

She is survived by 6 children, Barbara Darlene Jones and her husband, Maurice of Hebron, Erik Arthur Ludke and his wife, Maria of Dagsboro, Deborah Lynn Myer and her husband, Gregory of Willards, Grant Wayne Ludke and his wife, Sharon of Greenville, TX, Lorene Marie Herrera of Greenville, TX and Walter Albert Ludke and his wife, Lisa of Ash, NC; 15 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; 5 siblings, Camilla Bell of Kansas City, KS, Jay E. Hollingsworth, Jr and his wife, Tami of Wilberton, OK, Lynn Emshoff of Palm Harbor, FL, Aloma Hunnicutt and her husband, Carl of Midwest, OK and Curtis Hollingsworth and his wife, Tamara of Stuart, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Arthur Ludke; 2 sisters, Ruthie Hollingsworth and Dorothey Stormer; and a son in law, Harry Herrera.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 7704 Stanton Ave., Salisbury, MD 21801, where contributions may be made in her memory.
