SUSSEX Co., Del. - A great turnout at the Sussex County Job Fair Tuesday.
We're told approximately 700 people came out to meet with 60different employers. Hosted by Delaware's Federal Delegation, employers from both private companies and government agencies were looking to fill 1,000 open positions.
"People are hiring, it's just finding the right skill sets. It's not only determining if they have the skill sets, but can we develop those skill sets out of the employees. You've really got to look deep," employer Chris Maas of Manpower said.
Many employers also say, one of the best qualities they look for is simply, a positive attitude.
An additional job fair will be hosted by the federal delegation in Kent County this June.
