Two Suspicious Packages Debunked In Salisbury

Posted: Updated:

SALISBURY, Md. - Following the Boston Marathon Bombings, local law enforcement aren't taking anything lightly. Today in Salisbury, police investigated two suspicious packages.

First, in Downtown, they say they saw a man poking a "cookie tin" with a stick. An x-ray determined the container was fine and there was no need for concern.

Behind KFC on Route 13, there were reports of another suspicious package on the railroad tracks. That package was also deemed safe.
