Georgetown PD Collects More Than 65 Ponds Of Medication During Take Back

GEORGETOWN, Del. - Over the weekend, Police agencies nationwide participated in National Take Back Initiative for prescription medicines.

Here on Delmarva, Georgetown Police collected unwanted or expired medications that totaled 67 pounds in just four hours! The Police Department is looking forward to hosting another take back in the future.

Everything collected was turned over the Drug Enforcement Administration for destruction.
