Pedestrian Critically Injured In Motor Vehicle Accident

Easton, Md. - A pedestrian is in critical condition after being struck by a vehicle in Easton.

The incident occurred a little after 4PM on Sunday.  Police say officers responded to reports of a single vehicle accident involving a pedestrian on Route 50 and Lomax Street.  Investigators determined that a 2009 Chevrolet Traverse struck the pedestrian, who was attempting to cross both the east and west bound lanes.  The pedestrian was unconscious, but breathing at the scene.  He was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center and is listed in critical condition.  The driver and passenger in the vehicle sustain no injuries.  

he Easton Police Department is asking the public for any information on the pedestrian as well as additional witnesses to the accident. The pedestrian is described as a Hispanic male approximately 30 years old, 5'05" tall, and 150 pounds.  He was wearing gray cargo pants, white T-shirt and a long sleeve black and white flannel button down shirt.
