Troopers Investigate Harrington Robbery

HARRINGTON, Del. - Delaware State Police are investigating the robbery of a Harrington man who offered a ride to two strangers.

Police say around 4PM on Sunday, the victim offered a ride to the pair after he thought one of the subjects was a friend of his. Upon getting into the vehicle, the two men reportedly demanded that the victim drive, before placing a gun to his neck. Once they arrived on Bloomfield Drive, the suspects demanded the victim's money and fled the scene.

Authorities describe one of the suspects as White male, 5'08" - 6'00 tall, 150-175 lbs., long blond hair, wearing blue jeans, light colored T-shirt, and a jean jacket vest.  The other is described as a White male, 5'07" - 6'00" tall, 145-175 lbs., short hair, wearing blue jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.  He is believed to be armed with unknown type handgun.
