MSP, DEA Host National "Drug Take Back Day"

SALISBURY, Md - The Maryland State Police and the Drug Enforcement Administration want to help you get rid of your unused prescription meds safely.

They're hosting the National Take Back Initiative tomorrow at police barracks throughout the state.

You can bring in your unused or expired medications to a number of locations that are listed below.

Prescription medication abuse is second only to marijuana as the most commonly used drug in America.

Drop off locations:

  • Pocomoke Health Center, 400-A Walnut Street.
  •  Snow Hill Health Department, 6040 Public Landing Road.
  • Berlin Police Department, 10 Williams Street.
  • Food Lion, Rt. 611 West Ocean City.
  • Food Lion, Manklin Creek Rd. Ocean Pines.
  • Town of Ocean City Police Dept. and Ocean Pines Police Dept. offices both have permanent drop-off boxes.
